TURKEYEVENT PLATFORM TERMS OF USE AND SERVICE AGREEMENT
1. PARTIES AND DEFINITIONS
1.1 Platform Operator

(Hereinafter referred to as “TurkeyEvent” or “Platform”)
1.2 User
All natural and legal persons who register on and use the TurkeyEvent Platform.
1.3 User Roles
- Event Owner (Customer): A user who creates an event request
- Supplier: A user who provides services through the Platform
- Venue Provider: A user who lists venues through the Platform
The User agrees that the provisions applicable to their selected role(s) are legally binding.
2. SUBJECT AND SCOPE OF THE AGREEMENT
2.1 This Agreement governs the terms of use of the TurkeyEvent Platform, role-based obligations, payment and commission rules, confidentiality, liability limitations, and termination conditions.
2.2 TurkeyEvent acts solely as a digital intermediary platform connecting event owners with suppliers and venue providers and is not a party to the actual service performance.
3. PLATFORM DESCRIPTION AND SERVICES
3.1 TurkeyEvent is a web-based and mobile-compatible platform facilitating event requests, quotations, messaging, reservations, and payments for weddings, corporate events, concerts, conferences, exhibitions, and similar events.
3.2 The services provided by the Platform are limited to intermediation and facilitation.
SECTION A – GENERAL PROVISIONS APPLICABLE TO ALL USERS
4. MEMBERSHIP AND ACCOUNT MANAGEMENT
4.1 Platform membership is free of charge. TurkeyEvent reserves the right to offer certain services for a fee in the future.
4.2 Users declare that all information provided during registration is accurate and up to date.
4.3 Users are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their account credentials.
4.4 Users may close their accounts at any time; however, ongoing obligations and liabilities shall survive termination.
5. PROHIBITION OF OFF-PLATFORM TRANSACTIONS
5.1 Users shall not establish off-platform payments, agreements, or service relationships with parties introduced through the Platform.
5.2 In case of violation, TurkeyEvent reserves the right to suspend or permanently terminate the User’s account and claim damages.
6. MESSAGING AND CONTENT RULES
6.1 The messaging system may only be used for communications related to Platform activities.
6.2 Prohibited content includes obscene material, violence, discrimination, threats, insults, and harassment.
6.3 TurkeyEvent may remove prohibited content and suspend or terminate accounts without prior notice.
SECTION B – EVENT OWNER (CUSTOMER) SPECIFIC PROVISIONS
7. CUSTOMER OBLIGATIONS
7.1 Event Owners are responsible for providing complete and accurate event information.
7.2 Event Owners bear full legal and financial responsibility for agreements made with suppliers or venue providers.
SECTION C – SUPPLIER SPECIFIC PROVISIONS
8. SUPPLIER OBLIGATIONS
8.1 Suppliers must perform services in accordance with professional standards and applicable laws.
8.2 Suppliers are fully responsible for any damages arising from delayed, incomplete, or non-performance.
8.3 Suppliers shall not receive payments outside the Platform.
8.4 Suppliers are solely responsible for their personnel, equipment, and subcontractors.
SECTION D – VENUE PROVIDER SPECIFIC PROVISIONS
9. VENUE PROVIDER OBLIGATIONS
9.1 Venue Providers are responsible for the accuracy and completeness of venue information listed on the Platform.
9.2 Venue safety, capacity, and compliance with regulations are the sole responsibility of the Venue Provider.
SECTION E – PAYMENT, COMMISSION, AND ESCROW SYSTEM
10. PAYMENT AND COMMISSION
10.1 TurkeyEvent is entitled to charge commissions for transactions conducted through the Platform.
10.2 Commission rates and payment timelines are regulated under Commission and Payment Terms (Annex-1).
10.3 All payments must be processed exclusively through the Platform.
SECTION F – DATA PROTECTION, CONFIDENTIALITY, AND LIABILITY
11. PERSONAL DATA AND CONFIDENTIALITY
11.1 Personal data is processed in accordance with applicable data protection legislation.
11.2 Users confirm that they have reviewed the Personal Data Protection Notice (KVKK).
12. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
12.1 The Platform is provided on an “AS IS” basis.
12.2 TurkeyEvent shall not be liable for any damages, injuries, losses, or disputes arising between users.
12.3 TurkeyEvent is not responsible for service interruptions, data loss, cyberattacks, or technical failures.
SECTION G – TERMINATION, GOVERNING LAW, AND EFFECTIVE DATE
13. TERMINATION
13.1 TurkeyEvent may terminate this Agreement immediately in case of breach.
13.2 Users may terminate this Agreement by closing their accounts.
14. FORCE MAJEURE
Events such as natural disasters, war, pandemics, infrastructure failures, or governmental actions shall be considered force majeure.
15. GOVERNING LAW AND JURISDICTION
15.1 This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye.
15.2 Istanbul Anatolian Courts and Enforcement Offices shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
16. EFFECTIVE DATE AND ACCEPTANCE
By electronically approving this Agreement, the User confirms that they have read, understood, and accepted all its terms.
